Designing with Drywall – understanding performance, key regulations and how to meet them

Drywall is a ubiquitous element in the design of buildings present in most of our homes, offices and shops.  But despite its prevalence in everyday life many people are still unaware of how it’s made, where it comes from or how useful it is.  Drywall can provide fire resistance to walls and ceilings, and can limit sound travelling between rooms.

RSUA has partnered with JP Corry and ETEX to deliver this one hour seminar on the design possibilities and performance opportunities presented by drywall.

Course content

This seminar will cover:

  • Introduction
  • Understanding performance, key regulations and how to meet them (acoustic, thermal and others)
  • Best practice details to avoid common problems
