No-nonsense GDPR for Architects

It was 2018’s Millennium Bug.  The introduction of the new General Data Protection Regulations seemed to produce a cottage industry of doomsayers and fearmongers.  The regulations are now in force and whilst the sky hasn’t fallen in, this is a natural time for architects (particularly in smaller practices) to learn what these changes require you and your practice to do.  This expert-led two-hour session will use scenarios and will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to process personal data safely and reduce the risk of reputational damage to your practice through a data breach.

Course Content

The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) came into force on 25th May 2018. It made significant changes to data protection law in the UK to include increased rights to data subjects and more obligations on those who process personal data.
