An exhibition of drawings and designs by William Henry Orr

An exhibition of drawings by William Henry (Harry) Orr, distinguished architect, designer for Good Vibrations records, and Downpatrick native, is being curated at RSUA.  This exhibition includes Harry Orr’s work at home and abroad from his extensive travel and demonstrates the breadth of his interests and talents.

One particular area of interest was music and Harry Orr became friendly with the “godfather” of the punk scene in Northern Ireland, Terri Hooley.  Harry designed posters and record sleeves for the Good Vibrations record label and a selection of those will be available to view as part of this exhibition, reminding us of the important connections between architecture and art.
