CDM NI 2016: The Roles of Designer and Principal Designer
Location: Riddel Hall, Stranmillis Road, Belfast
Date: 22 September 2016
2pm-5pm on Thursday 22nd September
From 1 August 2016 the Construction Design & Management Regulations (NI) 2007 (CDM2007) will be replaced by CDM (NI) 2016. The roles and responsibilities of the CDM Co-ordinator and the need to prove competency will no longer exist. A new duty holder, the Principal Designer, will be born with many differing duties than previously and an appointment throughout the Pre-construction (design) phase of the project. To help members prepare for their duties under the new legislation RSUA has arranged the first of a series of events on CDM.
