RSUA and PLACE are launching a joint initiative called CRIT.

CRIT is about creating the space for architects to share their work-in-progress so that participants can benefit from critical engagement, encouragement and learning.

The first event will be held at 7pm on 15th June 2017 at PLACE and will be led by David Capener of LoF Architects and Mark HackettĀ of Hackett Architects.

For many architects the opportunities for discussion about each others work almost disappear after leaving university or are confined within their own practice. CRIT invites architects to present a scheme in development followed by a group conversation about the scheme.

CRIT is open to architects working in practice and recent graduates. Whilst it is likely to be of particular benefit to those working as sole practitioners or in small practices, it will also be useful to larger practices.

To participate in the first CRIT or to register your interest in this initiative, please email Jeanette Hedley on

If you have any questions or have an interesting scheme that you would like to present please do not hesitate to contact us.
