How’s your downward facing dog?

Whether you’re thinking “Dog, I don’t have a dog” or “Great, but wait ‘til you see my Locust” this could be just the thing you’re looking for.

As we approach the anniversary of the lockdown and the particular stresses that have ensued, RSUA invites you to uncoil with Architect’s Yoga Online. Why not give it a go.

The online yoga class to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home will be from 8pm to 9pm on Thursday 25 March 2021. The class will be delivered by vinyasa yoga teacher, Oonagh Todd.  Oonagh is an accredited Yoga Alliance Professional. Oonagh’s simple technique will help you to move mindfully, letting your body benefit from movement while your mind benefits from stillness.

When and where?

The class will take place from 8pm until 9pm on Thursday 25 March and will be hosted online via Zoom.

Attendance is free for all RSUA members.

Who can attend?

This yoga practice is accessible for everyone. If you are a beginner, this is a great chance to try something new from the comfort of your own home. If you have been practicing yoga for years, the moves can be tailored so that you get the most out of it.

Will I be seen?

Once the yoga starts all participants will be asked to turn their camera and sound off. Feel free to have your camera on at the start to say hello but even that’s up to you.

Do I need any equipment?

If you have a yoga mat, use it. If not a large towel or small rug will do. Please wear comfortable clothing i.e. nothing too restrictive. You should also consider where you will practice. This should be somewhere you won’t slip or put uncomfortable pressure on your knee.
