Infrastructural Turn Symposium

The Infrastructural turn symposium invites three renown, international practitioners to discuss their work in the expanded field of architecture in Europe and North America. Each is at the forefront of a growing movement of deploying design as a synthetic element within the rethinking and planning of larger systems and networks: infrastructure, agriculture, energy, urbanism, landscape, waste.

Alessandra Cianchetta, AWP (Paris +London)

Duzan Doepel, DoepelStrijkers (Rotterdam)

Mason White, Lateral Office (Toronto)

The talks will followed by a round table discussion hosted by Professor Thomas Jefferies of the Manchester School of Architecture.

The event is free fully funded and supported by the Sustainable Built Environment research cluster, School of Natural and Built Environment, Queen’s University, Belfast
