Irish Country House Architecture Lectures

The Irish Georgian Society, in association with the Centre for the Study of Historic Irish Houses and Estates (CSHIHE), Maynooth University, presents IRISH COUNTRY HOUSE ARCHITECTURE.

Over nine consecutive weeks, drawing on new research and insights, academics and authors will chart the stylistic evolution of Ireland’s country houses. The talks will explain who commissioned, designed and built these houses, that arguably form the most impressive building typology of Ireland’s architectural heritage. To view the full programme of on-line talks and book please go to the Irish Georgian Society’s website (Talk 10 euro each or 80 euro for all nine lectures) Talks recognised as structured CPD by the RIAI.
