QUB ArcSoc Online Talk: Renzo Piano Building Workshop

Queen’s University Architecture Society (ArcSoc) is proud to host an online talk from Mr. Albert Giralt, Partner at Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

Mr Giralt will be delivering a lecture on the studio’s philosophy; designing spaces that prioritize the user experience. This will provide an insightful look into life practicing in a working studio.

RPBW has successfully undertaken and completed over 140 projects around the world. Currently, among the main projects in progress are: the Paddington Square in London; GES-2 arts centre in Moscow; the CERN Science Gateway Building in Geneva and; the Toronto Courthouse.

The practice permanently employs about 120 architects together with a further 30 support staff including 3D visualization artists, model makers, archivers, administrative and secretarial staff.
