Site Waste Management Plans: regulating for resource efficiency
Location: Malone House
Date: 22 February 2011
A half day seminar to be held in Malone House, Barnett Demesne, Belfast, at 9.15 to 12.30 on Tuesday 22nd February 2011
The aim of this seminar will be to introduce Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP) – what they are, who is responsible for implementing them, what they involve, their impact to date and to review the new regulations making Site Waste Management Plans a legal requirement in Northern Ireland.
The seminar is to help architects understand the role of the designer in SWMP’s and the support tools that are available. As this is a half day programme, it is an overview and there will not be sufficient time to cover all the elements of Site Waste Management Plans in detail.
