Applications now open for 3rd year undergradates
Are you an undergraduate architecture student in your final year that wants to explore the world? To see and experience its architecture on a journey of discovery, enlightenment and adventure? If so, the Alan Barnes Travel Scholarship Award might be for you!
The scholarship is open to any student educated through the post-primary system in Northern Ireland, who studies at a recognised School of Architecture in Britain or Ireland, and who is at present in their third year. The scholarship is a minimum of £500 but could be as much as £1,000 depending on the nature of the proposed trip. It will be given to the student who would make the most of it.
It is easy to apply. Click the button below and fill out your details to register, then email firstname.lastname@example.org with 500 words describing how you would use the scholarship and submit this along with a CV by Friday 25 February 2022. If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a short interview.
The scholarship will not only assist the winning student(s) with the costs of their trip, but their review of the trip will be published in Perspective, the Journal of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects.
