Architect’s Journal recognises emerging local talent

Two RSUA members have been included in the Architect’s Journal “40 under 40” which seeks to celebrate the UK’s emerging architectural talent. Jane Larmour and Aisling Shannon Rusk were both included in the first edition of “40 under 40” since 2005.

Jane Larmour is a Director at Arigho Larmour Wheeler which has been shortlisted for a gallery complex and a masterplan in Norway and recently won second prize in a competition for a new Irish embassy in Tokyo in September.

Aisling Shannon Rusk is Director of Studio Idir and in addition to recent work with the Northern Ireland Department of Justice exploring ideas for the removal of a large peace wall, is involved in an investigation into Belfast’s alleyways as spaces of connectivity, 9ft in common.
