The Conservation Committee met on 17 September and considered a range of issues relating to conservation. The committee agreed to the call for a new chair to remain on the agenda for the next meeting in November.
The committee also agreed to receive a copy of templates completed with example information to be incorporate into the NEC Guidelines for Conservation Projects paper which will be updated and issued to all committee members for comment.
The committee also discussed the standard to which house surveys are carried out and agreed to write to the Law Society on the matter and agreed to receive an update on mutual recognition between RSUA and RIAI at the next meeting.
A draft paper on retrofit guidance for conservation projects was also discussed and a separate meeting was arranged to discuss the paper in further detail.
