Qualifying to manage public works contracts


In June 2019, the Construction and Procurement Delivery Division of the Department of Finance (CPD) specified that all construction work contracts awarded must be managed by a suitably qualified person.

There are two routes to meeting this requirement:

  1. Complete the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) Law and Contract Management Examination. The examination for this module with take place in June 2022 with applications closing by 1 May 2022. You can download the application form here.
