The programme of events for the second quarter of 2021 is now live for booking. One of our objectives is to deliver training for continuous professional development across all ten of the RIBA Core Curriculum topics in the course of a year: in the last quarter we covered seven and in the next quarter we cover one new one meaning that “Architecture for social purpose” and “Business, clients and services” are topics that we will cover later in the year. These are only our suggestions though and you may feel that training covers other areas also.
We have also developed an On-Demand CPD service which sees our previous sessions available online for a period of up to six months after the live event. If you are interested to explore our back catalogue then you can do so here.
Another objective is to bring you events of a high standard and we track feedback from our events to inform what we do, including the speakers we consider, the topics we cover, and how we deliver the events. The CPD Committee approves the programmes and suggests areas for future consideration to make sure that our programme is relevant, engaging, and stimulating.
We’re always on the lookout for interesting presentations from across the built environment and indeed across these islands, so if there is something that you think other members might enjoy, or a thought you want to discuss about the RSUA CPD Programme just contact Emmet McDonough-Brown, firstname.lastname@example.org
