Two RSUA members stand for election to ARB

Two RSUA members are in the running to get elected to the Architects Registration Board. Frank McCloskey, former RSUA Director and Terence McCaw, current RSUA Council member, are both seeking election to one of the seven positions available on the Board. Across the UK there are 17 individuals standing for election.

Calling on all RSUA members to use their vote in the ARB elections, Martin Hare, RSUA President said, “It is great to see local architects putting themselves forward for election to ARB and wouldn’t it be fantastic if two of the seven seats available were filled by people from Northern Ireland. However, this will only be possible if ARB registered architects across Northern Ireland use their vote.”

The voting packs for the ARB election have now been issued. They explain how to cast your vote online or by post. All votes must be cast by noon on 1st March 2016.

Martin Hare concluded, “Let’s make sure we take this chance to get Northern Ireland represented on the Architects Registration Board. Vote for Terence and Frank and encourage your colleagues to do likewise.”
