A party of 19 attended the RSUA study trip to Rome from the 1st to 4th October 2015. The trip, which was sponsored by Tarkett, included tours of a wider range of buildings from the ancient to the modern.
The packed schedule took in:
The Vatican museums and Sistine chapel
MAXXI by Zaha Hadid
The Colosseum and the Roman Forum
Auditorium Parco della Musica by Renzo Piano
Jubilee Church by Richard Meier
Ara Pacis by Richard Meier
St. Peters Basilica
Even with so much to see there was still time found to fully enjoy the great food and wine that Rome has to offer which no doubt contributed to the really positive feedback from all participants.
In the coming weeks members will get the chance to find out more about the trip as photos, thoughts and reviews are compiled.
With the study trip now back on RSUA’s calendar, the next destination is already under consideration. Suggestions are welcome.
