James Ashe: Prints

James Ashe is a visual artist and freelance illustrator. One of his recurring themes revolves around built heritage and architecture across Belfast and Northern Ireland. He has led solo exhibitions in “Framewerk Gallery”, “The Black Box”, and the Strand Arts Centre. In addition, he has been involved in group exhibitions with his most recent work being curated in the ‘Irish Modernisms’ exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Derry-Londonderry. As an illustrator he works on personal projects, private commissions, and commercial projects. One of his personal projects was the ‘Belfast Built Heritage’ illustration series which featured Transport House, Belfast City Hospital, King’s Hall, Strand Arts Centre, and the art deco Bank of Ireland.
