The ask an architect initiative has been extended for 2020. Bookings will remain open until 30th September in order to allow people to avail of an hour-long consultation with a chartered architect in return for a £40 donation to Friends of the Cancer Centre in partnership with the Jill Todd Trust.
42 practices have signed up to the initiative this year, and despite the outbreak of COVID-19, members of the public have continued to make bookings and avail of the expertise and knowledge that architects bring to projects large and small. Practices are also hosting remote video consultations for the first time.
RSUA is donating the small charges members pay for online CPD events to the initiative in recognition of the challenging context charities are operating in at present.
A revised promotional plan is being developed to broaden the reach of the initiative until the end of September and our thanks to our sponsor NIE Networks for their support.
